The FareTec REDI SPLINT is a lightweight, moldable utility splint designed for rapid extremity immobilization in prehospital, emergency and field environments.
Manufactured in the USA from a “dead-soft” aluminum core surrounded by closed-cell Volara® foam, the REDI SPLINT combines structural support with the flexibility to be shaped around the injured extremity.
The aluminum core can be bent, folded and contoured by hand to create the support configuration needed for the patient and injury. Once positioned, the splint can be secured using a bandage, elastic wrap or medical tape according to local protocols.
Available in multiple sizes and configurations, the REDI SPLINT is a versatile addition to EMS bags, trauma kits, military medical kits, rescue equipment and first-aid systems.

Moldable Aluminum Core
At the center of the REDI SPLINT is a flexible dead-soft aluminum alloy that can be shaped by hand while providing structural support once formed.
The splint can be:

Cut to size with appropriate scissors or trauma shears

Closed-Cell Volara® Foam
The aluminum core is surrounded by Volara® closed-cell, cross-linked foam.
The foam provides a padded surface between the aluminum support and the patient while maintaining a thin, compact profile for storage in medical kits and response bags.
Its closed-cell construction also makes the splint well suited to demanding emergency and field environments.
Support Without Complicated Setup
The REDI SPLINT is designed to provide useful support without requiring complex equipment or lengthy assembly.
Shape the splint to the required configuration, position it around or alongside the injured extremity, and secure it using an appropriate wrap or medical tape.
Different folds and contours can be used to increase rigidity depending on the application.
