Who We Are
FareTec Inc. is a Medical device manufacturer, founded in 1991. Our facility is located in Painesville OH, 20 miles East of Cleveland. We specialize in devices for pre-hospital care both in the civilian and military markets, domestically and internationally.

 

In the early years, the company’s primary focus has been on splints and various immobilization devices. The QD-4, Hare style leg traction splint, has been an industry standard along with our ladder splints and utility splints. FareTec, Inc. has evolved in the 21st century by introducing the CT-6 leg traction splint, which features a unique traction system. This was quickly adopted by the US military and various NATO countries. The latest version of this splint; the CT-7 was introduced in recent years and features many nice upgrades. These items, along with the Redi Splint utility device, represent the latest in leg traction and immobilization technology.

 

In 2004 Responder Products was launched as a sister company to focus on export sales. It has been designed to function as a manufacturer’s agent on specialty products to Europe, the Mid East and Asia Pacific countries.

 

In 2009 FareTec, Inc. announced its latest line of products: the LifeBox50s. Rising requirements for Cold Therapy following cardiac arrest, along with increasing requirements for more stable drug and blood temperature controls, created a void in the market for a portable temperature controlled device. The LifeBox50 has been designed to solve these issues by combining a rugged transport container and state-of-the-art insulation panels.

 

In 2011 FareTec Inc. added a Wheeled Litter Carrier, the EL3000, to their product line. It was named JPOC (Joint Product of Choice) by the US military and is now a staple for patient transport in both the US Military and Civilian Markets. In 2013, the EL2000 won the EMS “Top Product” Innovation award.

Since 2010 we have added a new focus: Tactical IFAK and Backpack first aid kits. We have since supplied to nationals all over the world and have many strategic alliances with key manufacturers including tourniquets, chest seals and hemostatic agents.

FareTec Inc. has a warehouses in Painesville, Ohio and where most items are manufactured and kitted. Most are  in stock and available for immediate delivery. FareTec also works with suppliers and agents to ensure
additional stock is accessible in times of need.
